TRAFFIC DISRUPTION SOUTHBOUND LANE OF THE SOLOMON HOCHOY HIGHWAY

The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure wishes to advise the general

public that a truck has overturned on the southbound lane of the Solomon Hochoy

Highway in the vicinity of Gasparillo. The accident occurred today at about 12:

45 p.m.  Motorists are advised to turn off at the Claxton Bay exit as an alternate route.

 

Emergency personnel are en route to the scene to address the situation.

 

 

We appeal to motorists to avoid the scene of the accident and to make use

of all alternate routes as far as possible.

 

 

We also advise all motorists to take extra precautions on the road whenever there is inclement weather.
